HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF ST. MARK?

Membership in St. Mark means having the opportunity to discover your spiritual gifts, grow in your faith and become part of a loving church family. If you are interested in joining us as we serve our Lord, please let a pastor or an usher know after the worship service concludes, check off the appropriate box on the Friendship pad as it is passed during service, or call our church office (636-394-2233)

New Member Classes
On Sunday, June 2 and June 9, classes will be held for those wishing to become new members of St. Mark. These classes cover an overview of St. Mark's past and present and a glimpse into where we are headed in the future. We will also talk about what it means to be a member of St. Mark, with an opportunity to ask questions. The classes are held from 9:15 until 10:15 in the Library (it is just down the hall from where we serve coffee). There are two class sessions. Please plan on attending both class sessions, if possible. Childcare can be arranged if needed.
If you wish to attend the New Member Classes, please contact Carol Pfeil at 636-394-2233, so that we can be good stewards of our materials.

Being a member of St. Mark or any church means being a part of the Body or Christ.  It is through baptism that we are transformed and united with Christ. St. Mark recognize baptisms in all other Christian denominations - there is no need to be 're-baptized'! Click here to read more about baptism in the PC(USA). Once you have attended the orientations and discussed your intentions with the pastor and members of Session, you will be publicly received by the congregation during a worship service.
