Marsha Medley is St. Mark’s music director and organist. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Music from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Marsha learned to play the piano when she was young. She began her service in church music at age 12, after a nun gave her six organ lessons. Marsha has served in a variety of church denominations in the St. Louis, Chicago Area, and Cincinnati. She is also a well-known piano teacher locally.

For relaxation, Marsha runs, bikes, lap swims, and pushes her cat off the kitchen counters.

Since taking the reins of the music program at St. Mark, Marsha has sought to expand the variety of music for worship and increase the participation of people with varying ages in this ministry. For Marsha, making music with others is a joy. Soli Deo gloria – Glory to God alone.
