As we grow in our relationship with God, let us respond to God’s blessing in our lives with gratitude and give in order to say thank you for that blessing.
God has been so generous to us. We have been given a beautiful world in which to live, explore and create and we have been blessed with an abundance beyond anyone’s imagination. These resources provide not only what we need to have a comfortable and fulfilling life, but also enough so that we can experience the joy that God feels as God gives to us.
Through giving, we have a tangible way to say thank you to God for all of God’s blessings. II Corinthians 9 tells us that we should give freely out of gratitude to God and that as we give God will make sure that we will always have enough to give.
